Darren Brunner Wedding

This past weekend we went to Jen's cousin Darren's wedding in WI. It was beautiful weather for the outdoor ceremony. The whole thing was just georgous. The ceremony was at Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls. We went a little early and met mom and dad Fedie for a picnic in the park. Then, we went and looked at the animals. We saw them feed the bears. Daniel LOVED it-you can hear him roar right away at the first video.
The reception was at the Quality Inn in Eau Claire. We had a great time. Daniel showed us some dance moves :)

We left there and went to Chetek for the night...then worked until noon on Sunday to take the dock and lifts out for the winter. Then, off to home for chores of our own.

Nate starts his new job tomorrow!!

Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Racki

This weekend was Nate's sister Amy's wedding in Madison. We arrived on Friday, went to rehersal, then to P.F. Changs for the rehearsal dinner. The ceremony was beautiful and so were the bride and groom. Here are some shots of the day!
The boys
The girls
Daniel with his spiffy haircut and outfit
Our family
Cake Cutting
The Quist Siblings Daniel playing under the tables-He LOVED this!
And, Daniel playing spoons.

He tuckered out at 10:30! What a long night for him. Auntie Jen went up with him to sleep, so Nate and I got to stay and dance :) We thought he was going to sleep in, but he woke Grammy and Grandpa up at 5:30 on Sunday.

As you can tell, it was a great weekend! Amy and Anthony are perfect for each other, so it was easy to stand up and represent them. They are now off to HI enjoying the tropical weather and peace.

Happy 1 1/2 years old Daniel!

Well, the little cutie is 1.5 years old today. To celebrate, we decided to give him a big boy haircut at an actual haircut place. There's a Kid's Hair in Blaine here that was really nice. He almost made it through the entire cut... Here's our finished product: And, we finally got our camera back after leaving it at Heather's wedding over Labor Day weekend... Here are the pics from that. Beautiful Heather and her dad.

And, our family.

Fri night we went to Ross and Bri's for dinner and games! Boy, were we tired out after the night of playing Wii!! The girls triumphed in tennis while the boys showed us their stuff in boxing. They say they are terrible hosts, but they were great. We're hoping to repeat this event every month-what do you think guys?
We're all recovering from the flu this week. Daniel got it Fri night (Good thing grandma and grandpa were babysitting! Thanks again you guys for dealing with that!!!), Jen on Sun, Nate on Mon. Grandma and Grandpa Quist on Mon/Tues. And Katie's boyfriend Mike on Tues. Let's hope no one else gets it! It's terrible. This weekend we're off to Amy's wedding celebration in Madison. It's going to be great.

Nate got a new job!

Nate got an offer to work for Carlson Companies starting Oct 13th. It will be very hard to not spend that extra 2 hours a day in the car with him, but we'll make do. He's very excited to start this new adventure. He gets to clean up a big, messy network-which is right up his alley. He also gets additional responsibilities of being a team lead. What a great opportunity for him!

Congrats baby, I'm VERY proud of you.

Bachelor/Bachelorette Weekends for Amy

This past weekend was full of fun. Jen left Fri night with Lynette and Katie for Madison for Amy's bachelorette party. Us three spent some quality time in the car together :) And, we had a full day with Amy and Jen Hoffe too. Amy's apartment is really nice. I only took 2 pictures all weekend, I'm sooo sorry. But, here they are: one of Amy at her shower and one of Jen with her almost 20wk belly!Nate left for LaCrosse on Sat morning for Anthony's bachelor party. They went out on the River for some fishing. Then sat around the fire. We're soo excited to see Amy and Anthony as happy as they are. Only 2 more weeks until the wedding!

We got our camera back!

We've been missing our camera for a while now! But, we finally saw the Quists and got it back today. So, here's what's new:
Daniel has 1/2 of a molar. It doesn't seem fair-that tooth is HUGE! Poor guy. The other half is coming in soon. Nate and Daniel both had the flu this past week. So, all three of us were home Wed-Fri. Then, we found out Daniel has a minor ear infection in one ear, so we got some antibiotic for it. It seems like he's now developed an allergy to it, so we'll be back into the Dr. tomorrow to see what's up. He has a bumpy red rash all over him. It doesn't seem to itch though. But, Saturday I got to relax and go shopping to the Albertville outlet mall with Greta and Sara. Yippee :) There sure were some good deals! Back to last weekend, we had Amy and John's baby shower. For those of you who don't know-Amy is on bed rest, so John came over to open the gifts. It seems like everything is hanging in there for now. Amy's such a good patient. They'll be at 34 weeks soon, so it will take a lot of stress off-trying to get to 36 though. Then the weekend before that was Labor Day, so we went to Chetek for some relaxing. My college roomy Heather got married that Sat. It was a beautiful day weather-wise and the celebration was perfect too. I had a really good time. Everything was wonderful. I left our other camera there and that one is now at the Fedie's, so we'll get those pictures posted after we hook up with them. Then, on Labor Day we decided to leave Chetek early and go car shopping. The Grand Am has been in the shop every month for the past 6 months it seems, and the antifreeze started leaking, so it was time...Jen only shed a couple of tears. We got a shiny Chevy Malibu. We'll take pictures soon!
These are our new teethers. Daniel won't chew on anything else, so we found some empty bottles and he LOVES chewing on the top...

Here's Daniel showing me that he doesn't really care how cute his new vest is, he doesn't like it :)

And, here's some fun camera stuff

Mr. Daring at it again. We can go foward now!
