We're way past due on an update. We really haven't done much, so there hasn't been too much to write about-except this past week.
This weekend we went to the cabin to do more renovation (and relax). The walls have been painted a nice pale yellow. On Sat morning, we laid the new floors and put trim around mostly everything. We still have the doors to do. (and again, by we, I mean Nate) Thanks to Tim and Dad for helping with this. It would have been tough with only 2 people. Here are some pictures:
Other news: Our daycare decided to downsize. We were really sad, but it was a good time to look at our situation. We've decided that I'm going to go to part time-working Tues, Wed and Thurs and will be home with Daniel on Mon and Fri. We're putting Daniel in a New Horizons center the days I work. Today is his first day. Nate said he did great. He was a little shy at first, but when he left he was sitting down with the rest of the kids ready for breakfast. He LOVES kids. It's amazing how social he is. At Nate's softball game last week, he grabbed a baseball, walked up to a little boy and said, "Hi boy. Play ball?" So we know he'll do just fine. Any adjustment is scary though...Mom's having a hard day today! Must be hormones!!
The pregnancy is going well. We'll be 19 weeks tomorrow. I know I owe a picture! I promise before week 20. I just started to pop, so there hasn't been much to look at!!! But, I'm feeling really good. I didn't really get too sick this time around, so it's been great. I'm getting my energy back too-which will come in handy with Daniel! I started feeling kicks pretty early-around wk 15. And, Nate has felt it already too. This baby is sitting very low though. No kicks have been above the belly button yet. We have our ultrasound next week to count fingers and toes :)
What else? Nate's baby sister Katie got engaged. That's great! We love Mike and can't wait to share their special day. We get to see Brooklyn and Jen this weekend. We saw John, Amy and Will on Sat. Along with the Fedie side for Aunt Lorena's retirement party. It was very nice to see everyone.
That's about all I can think about now...
